Eating at "Vinatea" restaurant 👍👍

This is a signature cuisine restaurant with 15 main courses tasting menu at €49.90 price ("Evolution" menu, in wich almost every course has been elaborated in some way with Tuber Melanosporum black truffle), drinks not included. Currently they have ⭐4.5 rating in Google Maps and my personal rating was ⭐5. Ángela Milán, chef of this restaurant, was awarded with the Young Promise of the Valencian Community cuisine award. They're recommended by Repsol guide and awarded with the Bib Gourmand distinction by Michelin guide, meaning this badge that this restaurant has a very good price/quality ratio.

The restaurant is located in a restored 12th century house and the water they serve you comes from a well (visible inside the restaurant, illuminated and with very blue water) dating from the 13th century. The treatment of the head waiter is excellent and the chef's cuisine is avant-garde but respecting product and tradition.

  • Corn and beetroot tile with creamy bushmeat pate, tuna jerky and truffle.

  • Crunchy dry ball pepper sponge cake with sardine, fried quail egg, garlic and truffle chips, all smoked with Jack Daniel's bourbon wood.

  • Crispy toast with local pork tenderloin tartare, truffle and Roman "garum" sauce's mayonnaise.

  • Roasted vegetables cannelloni with piquillo pepper cream, black truffle mayonnaise and extra virgin olive oil caviar.

  • Wakame seaweed croquette on sea urchin cream, crunchy nori seaweed, caramelized scallop and black truffle pearls.

  • Grilled duck breast with Cambodian-style red curry, sweet potato and truffle.

  • Rosemary ice cream with pineapple cubes osmotised with mead, pollen tile and spiced biscuit.

  • Burnt orange, mango and passion fruit cream with cocoa cookie crumble and candied hibiscus flower.
