This restaurant has very good reviews and a high rating on Google Maps (☆ 4.8).
It is run by two young chefs from Madrid who are committed to good products and a Spanish-Asian fusion cuisine.
I wanted to try many of their dishes so I asked for half portions.
- Madrid stew gyozas (€6.90): Filled with tasty Madrid stew meat, they are typical in the place.
- Lettuce wrap filled with fresh salmon skewers (dish off the menu, €8): The fresh salmon was marinated and almost raw. It was good but not very remarkable.
- Red wine from grenache grapes of 2018 (€18 bottle).
- Tuna temaki with quail egg (€6): Not the best red tuna I've had but not bad.
- Cucumber and papaya salad (€6.90): Very typical in Thailand, it contains the five flavors that our tongue can appreciate (sweet, salty, sour, spicy and umami).
- Red tuna tartare with turnip (€11.50 half portion): Seasoned with soy and wasabi.
- Cod cheeks in miso's pil-pil confit (€10 half portion): With garlic flowers.
- Beef tenderloin steak tartare (€10.90 half portion): With chipotle chili and plantain chips. Very good.
- Madrid-style tripe with an oriental touch (€10.90 half portion): Original and good.
- French toast with yogurt ice cream (€6.50): Best french toast I've ever had. Just perfect, made from brioche.
- Glass of Fondillón Gran Reserva (€8 glass): One of the luxury wines in the world, it's unique and special.
Overall evaluation of the restaurant: 7.5 points out of 10.
