Eating at "Lienzo" restaurant 👍

This is a signature cuisine restaurant with 11 courses menu at €65 price, drinks not included. Is owned by chef María José Martínez, awarded with the Revelation Cook of the Year 2016 prize. Currently they have ⭐4.6 rating in Google Maps and my personal rating was ⭐5. They have won 1 Repsol Sun and are included in the Michelin guide.

The entire place has a minimalist atmosphere and the restaurant room service is just excellent. Their cuisine is based on seasonal products with original preparation full of flavor. Also they care a lot for sustainability, have their own crops, make their own honey and craft beers with said honey.

  • Veal stuffed bun with carrot and chili sauce.
  • Beef jerky sheet stuffed with vegetable velouté.
  • Toasted rice toast with eel confit in extra virgin olive oil.
  • Seaweed roll stuffed with cod brandade.

  • Fresh oyster with rosemary meat reduction sauce.

  • Fresh cockles with flowers jelly.

  • Fresh shrimp with the sauce on their heads and hazelnuts.

  • Fresh beach squid noodles marinated in kimchi with its ink tile.

  • Grilled venison with its juice reduction sauce, red wine reduction sauce, butter mashed potatoes and apple sticks.

  • Beetroot sorbet with tomato cone.

  • Surprise dessert with brownie, surprise egg, homemade jam, homemade jelly and cream: the chef leaves the kitchen to fill your entire table with this dessert that she prepares for you at the moment, as if it were a canvas she is painting.

Overall evaluation of the restaurant: 8.5 points out of 10.
