Delicious native food(Ekóki)

Ekóki is one food the Ibibio's can't do without,it can be eaten anytime, and anywhere. Don't forget all our food are very nutritious u can try and see.

This food is made from corn,firstly you remove the back. When you remove, this how it will look. 👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻

This is the corn.

So after the shell had been removed,remaining the corn on the corncob,you now remove the corn from the corncob.👇🏻

After this step, you wash the corn and then grind it.

After grinding it, you now turn it into a round basin were u will be able to put all the ingredients and turn it well. So after that you now add your ingredients like:pepper,Maggi,salt,onions,smoked fish,red oil and crayfish.
Note:all this things u add them depending on the quantity you have.

After putting your ingredients you now turn it and have a taste of it. after that you scoop it inside a nylon.

so you continue to tie it and put inside a pot, add water, after that you put it on fire.

After you might put it on fire, you allow it for 1 hour.....food is getting ready.
