Hello hive friends!
How was your day? I hope everyone is having a good day and in good health while reading this blog. I hope that in the midst of this pandemic, all of you are always happy and healthy.
This time I will share a recipe for a traditional Indonesian snack called Cilok. Cilok is a typical West Java food made from chewy tapioca. The shape of this food is small, similar to meatballs. Usually eaten with peanut sauce or chili sauce and sweet soy sauce. This snack is widely sold on the street and is also very popular with people. How to make it very easy and simple, it doesn't take long to cook. Okay, let's get started!
Wheat flour
Tapioca flour
Chicken powdered broth
Salt
Garlics
Ground pepper
Water
Step 1
mash the garlic and pepper (can also use black pepper)
Step 2
Put the flour in a large bowl. Add the spices that have been ground and also the broth and a little salt. Then pour hot water and mix well.
Step 3
Add tapioca flour and mix well
Step 4
Shape the dough into small rounds like meatballs
Step 5
Boil water in a pot until it boils, then add the Cilok.
Step 5
Let stand a few minutes until Cilok floats up. Then lift and drain.
After draining, can be eaten immediately or can also wait for the Chilok Chill. For the sauce, this time I used chili sauce mixed with sweet soy sauce.
That was the recipe and how to make cilok. I really hope you all like the recipe I share. I also hope this helps everyone who wants to try to make this. Thank you for reading this blog.
Once again I want to remind everyone to always take care of your health. Have a good day everyone. See you!
Best Regards,
Devy Swan
