Do you know what sprouts are? In Indonesia called Kecambah or Taoge. Actually, these two types are both new plants that grow from seeds. However, the two are different because Kecambah come from soybean seeds, and Taoge come from green bean seeds. Taoge are more often used for various dishes. While Kecambah can usually only be stir-fried.
This time what I will use is Kecambah. I will saute it with fried tofu or it can also be called brown tofu. Have you cooked this before? If you have never cooked this before, here I will share the recipe. Are you ready? let's start!
- Handful of Sprouts
- 2 pieces of brown tofu (fried tofu)
- 3 cloves of shallots
- 2 cloves of garlics
- Chilies (According to your taste)
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 1/2 teaspoon of powdered broth
- 1/2 teaspoon of sugar
- 2 tablespoon of cooking oil
- 30ml water
STEP 1
Wash the sprouts and tofu. After that, cut the tofu according to taste.
STEP 2
chop the shallots, garlics and chilies
STEP 3
Heat 2 tablespoons of cooking oil and sauté the garlic and shallots. Then add chilies and stir well.
STEP 4
Add water and the spices.
Step 5
Add the sprouts and tofu, then mix well. Cook until the spices absorb and the water shrinks.
Step 6
Served on a plate.
