I have a new recipe to share with all of you. Actually this is also my first time made it. Maybe almost everyone knows about Korean corndogs and has eaten them. But have you ever made it yourself? Have you ever wondered how to make it? If you are curious, you can immediately make it yourself after reading my recipe. But before sharing the recipe, I want to explain a little about this corndog.
Corndog is actually a food that originated in America, made of skewered sausages covered with a thick layer of watery dough and deep-fried cornmeal. Although it comes from America, corndogs are famous through Korean dramas. So, many people think this snack comes from Korea. Alright, that's all about the corn dog. Let's start the recipe!
Sausages (chicken or beef)
Wheat flour
Cooking oil
1/2 tablespoon baking powdered
1/2 tablespoon salt
2 tablespoon granulated sugar
Boiled water
Skewers
Bread crumb
Step 1
Put the flour in a bowl. Then add sugar, salt and baking powder. Then pour enough hot water. Mix well until the dough is smooth. After that cover it with a cloth and leave it for 30 minutes.
Step 2
If the sausage is too big then cut it into 2 parts, then pierce with a skewer. After that, wrap the sausage with the dough and then roll it on the breadcrumbs.
Step 3
Heat the oil and fry it.
Step 4
After the breadcrumbs look crispy, remove and drain. Then serve on a plate and add chili sauce and mayonnaise on top of the corndogs.
How was that? Easy,right?
Because this is my first try, so the shape is a bit less attractive. But just for the taste, I guarantee it's very delicious.Good luck trying it at home.
