Hello, friends especially foodies!

Like I always say that if we want to enjoy many delicious food we don’t have to travel anywhere, just stay at home, and open your phone. Like I did, on the weekend, Mom and I ordered a homy Central Javanese Food from a restaurant which we never tried before.

The Menu and The Price

The restaurant had some central Javanese food like Semarang Chicken Rice, Javanese Fried Rice, Javanese Fried Noodle, Kalasan rice chicken, Chicken satay, and wow look they also had Galantine, and for the snacks they also had the authentic central Javanese like Semarang springroll (Lumpia Semarang). After decided our orders, I paid. This was 74,720 IDR after the discount, so it was around 5 USD something.

The Food

And our order came after around 20-30 minutes after I had ordered and here how our dinner looked like

For main dish mom ordered the Javanese fried noodle, while me, Semarang chicken rice. We also ordered the galantine and also authentic Semarang springrolls.

The Taste and flavour of each

Mom’s fried noodle had a complete flavour between savory, sweet and a bit spicy. It had chicken and also kekian (kind of fish cake) as the topping which was also tasty.

Mine, Semarang Chicken Rice, was a combination of rice, shredded chicken in opor (coconut milk soup), fried tofu and sambal goreng labu (sweet ground stirred with chilli paste). It had sweet, light savory and spicy flavour. So authentically central Javanese food.

The special one was their galantine. It made from chicken and served with potato and boiled vegetables like carrot and green beans. The galantine had savory tasty flavour and the sauce gave the sweet flavour which was so tasty and extraordinary delicious. I recommend this menu for you on the weekend to try.

The last one we had was their springrolls. It had crunchy skin with the combination of young bamboo, egg, chicken and other vegetables inside. It had sweet domination flavour but so tasty.
