#Hivetasting is a new blog about reviews in restaurants around the world. On the former platform there was tasteem and I don’t think there is a follow upper. Well now there is, I love new tags. Ofcourse its wise to blog in @foodiesbeehive and to add your @haveyoubeenhere and @pinmapple location, for your personal map and extra exposure.

We made a reservation for 18.30 and with the new rules for covid we were allowed to sit at one table with 4 outside of being family. The fact that you don’t have times zones
anymore of 2,5 hours made it possible to sit there
untill 23.00 hours. After that we walked the along the water to Hotel New York.
The doormat was very inviting and we saw the great interior and styling immediately. One of the biggest wow factors I have seen in a restaurant yet.
When we sat down we had the possiblity to scan the menu but we also got the old school menu. Pink and very many nice courses to choose from.

Tthat was what was on the wall behind the bartender, and I have to say, it was true. So far so good!
We choose shared dining, a high tea plate with three stories with plates with small pieces of all the things on the menu. Very nice to meet the kitchen through the pallet of
colors and tastes.
All was also possible in halal and vegan. Very nice and very cool. The meat was cooked on the big green egg. We had a lovely red vegan wine, and water was free.
These fries with pamasan and truffle oil were to die for.
This was a special pink sauce with a bbq taste.
And to top off the evening I had this amazing dessert
Rolo cheesecake with home made ice cream.
Price altogether was 49 euros and included a glass of wine. We did have to park the car in centre of Rotterdam and that is not cheap, so next time we will take public transport.

maybe because of covid and the Dutch situations but the staff was young and in experienced. That was the reason for some ordering mistakes and mix ups in the drinks department. The store, the art and the fake branches and plants make this a unique arty place to go to dinner. The fact that they reside next to the new Luxor theater is a very nice place to be. The terrace overlooks the water and the glass front is great for an overview. I will sure go again.
