Browsing through TikTok I noticed a trend, pouring sriracha over a jar of store bought pickled garlic. And this trend has made pickled garlic hard to find!

I’ve been making pickled spicy garlic cloves all my life that definitely taste a lot cleaner than anything store bought so I will be sharing my recipe with you!
And they are easy to make too!
Peel enough garlic to fill up a glass jar with cloves. Make sure to leave some headspace.
Add 1 teaspoon white sugar, 3 tablespoons kosher salt and 1 tablespoon dried Tabasco pepper flakes. I fry my own so I use what I have but any other spicy crushed pepper flakes will do.
Fill your jar with 3/4 vinegar and the rest cold water. Put the cap on and shake it up!
Refrigerate your spicy pickled garlic for approximately a week and then enjoy! It’s great in salads or even eating one a day to ward off colds they say!
