¡Hola mis queridos amigos de Hive y 3Speak! El dia de hoy me animé a compartirles este video acerca de cómo preparar unas ricas paledonias. Es la primera vez que realizo un video así que espero que les guste.

Hello my dear friends of Hive and 3Speak! Today I decided to share with you this video about how to prepare some delicious paledonias. It's the first time I make a video so I hope you enjoy it.

El video lo grabé en español pero de igual forma les compartiré la receta en ingles aquí para aquellas personas que no hablen el idioma.

I recorded the video in Spanish but I will share the recipe in English here for those who don't speak the language.

Let's get started!

Los ingredientes que necesitaremos son:

  • 500grs de harina de trigo
  • 300 ml de agua
  • 1 panela
  • 1 cucharada de polvo de hornear
  • 1 cucharada de bicarbonato
  • clavitos de olor al gusto

The ingredients we will need are:

  • 500grs of wheat flour
  • 300 ml of water
  • 1 panela
  • 1 tablespoon of baking powder
  • 1 tablespoon of baking soda
  • cloves to taste

From here on the whole procedure can be better appreciated in the video, but for those who are not Spanish speakers here I leave the preparation in English.

We will begin by preheating the oven to 180 C° and then placing in a pot 300 ml of water, when it begins to boil we will add the panela and the cloves. I recommend grating it beforehand so that the dilution is much easier. Finally when it is cold we will strain it to remove the cloves and any residue of the panela that has not dissolved.

The next step is to take the 500 grams of wheat flour and add the teaspoon of baking powder and the baking soda and then sift everything so that it is without lumps.

Now we will proceed to integrate everything little by little. In a bowl we will add part of the flour and we will pour the panela and we will go mixing in an enveloping way little by little until we have a homogeneous mixture.

Then we will grease a mold with butter and flour. A trick that I have to thank my boyfriend for is that after preparing the mold we will put it in the refrigerator so that the flour adheres well to the butter and the unmolding is easier.

Once the mixture of our paledonia is ready, we will start pouring everything in the mold and we will put it in the oven for 30 min. You can use a toothpick to check when it is ready, if the toothpick comes out dry you have your paledonia ready.

And that's it, enjoy your meal!
