What I cooked at a local cantina this summer

It will be my homework for the summer holidays to write on Hive.blog daily basis ;) Here is the first one with a lot of photos.

A local cantina was looking for a team. The concept of the cantina is interesting. Different teams cook on different days of week. As my partner had time before he starts his new job and we cooked and served food together before, I said "we can do it!".

In June and July, we served 6 times in total. We alternated Japanese and fusion dishes.

I made small Japanese sweet "Rakugan" for people who kindly wait on line.

I enjoyed thinking about menu, cook and serve the food. Even my partner starts his job next month, we will serve every week in September. It was that much fun :)

Now it's summer off until in the end of August. I already think about what to serve in the autumn.


今住んでいる街に一週間日替わりでいろいろなチームが料理する食堂があって、新しくチームを募集していました。父ちゃんが転職のはざまだったということもあり、手を上げて、1ヶ月ちょっと毎週のように6回お昼を作りました。

慌しくもあり、メニューを考えて作って出すのが楽しくもあり、父ちゃんの仕事はもうすぐ始まりますが、9月も木曜日にお昼を出すことになりました。今は夏休みですが、もう秋に何を出そうか考える日々です。
