The population of our world is increasing day by day and due to that the vegetation and forestry are declining. And for this reason it has become very important to create new forests or plant trees. Otherwise we have to fight a kind of war with global warming.
However, it is now rainy season in Bangladesh. It is raining here almost every day. And that is why the soil is wet. So now is a very important time to plant trees. If trees are planted at this time, these trees are most likely to survive and grow well.
So lots of tree saplings are sold in the market at this time. And a lot of people are buying them and planting trees at home at the moment. Many people, especially in rural areas, are planting trees at this time. We are no exception. We are also planting trees in our house even though we have lots of plants in our house.
A few days ago my father saw a few tree saplings in my uncle’s land. Of course, the wood trees were born in the land. Probably due to a bird or the seeds falling on the ground in the wind, the saplings of wood trees have grown here. After a while, the lands will be submerged in rain water. So my father picked up the seedlings with soil and brought them home.
Then my father and I first chose the place where these saplings could be planted. Then I cleaned the places where these seedlings will be planted a little bit and dug a good hole and planted these seedlings. Of course, my father has done these things and I have helped my father in that work.
After planting these seedlings, a pole is placed on one side and attached to it so that it does not fall down. Then I tried to give water regularly. These wood trees are known in our area as Belgium or ekashi. Good quality furniture can be made with the wood of this tree. Moreover, the biggest thing is that when these trees grow, they will provide adequate amount of oxygen as well as provide shade and coolness to the house.
