What is the Wednesday Well-being Club?

The Wednesday Wellbeing Club is for anyone who wants to make some lifestyle changes. It will run every week for fifteen weeks until Wednesday 24 November 2021.I'm aiming to lose 6kg in that time with the intention of improved health benefits and the opportunity to reduce medication. You might have other health goals - being more active, giving up smoking, getting more sleep.Each week, we'll check progress against the Rule of Fives I set out in the launch post. You can write your own post each week, or you can just leave a comment on each week's post about how things are going for you.
My Weekly Targetsπ―
My wellness targets cover mental and spiritual, physical, relational and financial wellbeing. More specifically, Iβll be using the Rule of Fives to track the indicators shown in the table which follows.

Reflection | Hive blog, π | Each time I write in my blog it requires me to do some kind of reflection, so I may actually be spending a lot more time than planned on this goal. On the other hand I think I need to be more consistent in my prayer π life. 50% improvement needed. |
Family Relations | π , π£, π | Iβm writing this report on the day that my boys went back to school.It is also the day that my students are returning to the classroom. So for the week under review I spent most of the days with my family doing a variety of activities including supervising homework, playing table tennis and we even went fishing for about three hours during the week.For the most part this goal π₯ was achieved and even exceeded.Going forward, my concern is now that the holidays are over, the coming weeks will be more of a challenge. |
Physical Exercise | Fri Mon Tue π, π£,πΆββοΈ | I have tried to make exercise part my daily routine. So while watching the boys learning to play table tennis I, along with the other parents present, walk around picking up table tennis balls for about 2 hours.. There is room for improvement here for sure. |
Hydration | approximately 2000ml daily | 67% achieved.Iβm a bit behind on this indicator. Honestly, the target of 3000ml daily seems a bit high.Sometimes I feel like a bloated ballon πfilled with water. π |
Finance | Now 625HP | +7HP 35% achieved. Iβm behind on this target as well. I need to find a way to get more support for my posts. |
