Hello friends.

It's Halloween week, waaahooo!

Here at the office, spirits run high as this is our favorite month of the year. It’s such a delight getting dressed up as ghouls or ghosts, cartoon characters, or even a plant. Imagination runs wild, children go wild, and adults enjoy playing dress-up again. Ahhh, such fond memories.

There are many Halloween traditions and customs that people hold dear. One of which is carving a pumpkin. In yesterday's weekly update (HERE), we talked a bit about the history of the jack-o'-lantern, namely the story about the first jack-o'-lantern ever. Mind you, it is a sad tale of woe, so reader beware.

However, the pumpkin is also a unique art form. Artists carve amazing detailed imagery into them, some that would put a Rembrandt painting to shame; but others slice and dice, hack and slash with no care at all, to create a Frankenstein design that is horrific.

We thought it would be fun to do a challenge around the pumpkin. Continue down below for this week's jack-o'-lantern challenge!

Today's challenge :

On a post on D.Buzz, we want you to (*virtually) carve this pumpkin into your ideal jack-o'-lantern.

Download this image and edit it in any way you want to create a pumpkin masterpiece. The only criteria is you have to leave the title intact. The title is that top bar that has the D.Buzz logo and the pumpkin carving challenge name. Everything else is fair game. Design and manipulate, paint on or replace the pumpkin to make a jack-o'-lantern masterpiece.
