Hivestockimages : Traditional Equipment to Repel Sparrow Pests in Aceh, Indonesia

Like the previous entry that I shared on Hivestockimages. Currently, farmers are overwhelmed by sparrow pests ahead of their rice crop harvest.

Every way is made to dispel sparrow pests in the rice fields. One of them is by making a sparrow scraper from a cloth that is tied to a rope, and at the end of it a tin filled with stones is given.

When the sparrows arrive, the farmers who look after their plants move the ropes and the sparrows are driven away by the sound of the rocks filling in the cans, the waving of the cloth adding to the usefulness of this traditional tool to ward off pests.

Traditional equipment to repel sparrow pests is the entry for #hivestockimages this time. Hopefully it's useful for the Hive Blockchain community and felt free to use it!
