This time I will share the story of my journey to the most historic place in Indonesia. Where this place is the end point of Indonesia's struggle against Dutch aggression. Namely Radio Rimba Raya, which is located in Ronga-Ronga Bener Meriah, Central Aceh.
This is a radio monument, long ago it was this radio that played an active role in proclaiming an independent Indonesia. As Aceh still stands firmly as a pillar of the struggle, and Indonesia still exists.
This monument can still be seen clearly, as a historical monumental witness that Indonesia was able to resist colonialism even in difficult circumstances.
Radio Rimba Raya continued to play an active role until the Dutch government recognized Indonesian sovereignty on 27 December 1949 through the Round Table Conference in The Hague.
Radio Rimba Raya was again operating in 2008 as a medium of information and entertainment for the people of Bener Meriah and its surroundings.
