In this post, I will share information about PLTD Apung tourism in Punge Blang Cut, Kec. Jaya Baru, Banda Aceh City, Aceh, which was hit by a tsunami that occurred at 08:58:53 WIB on December 26, 2004.

PLTD Apung is a power plant owned by PLN in Banda Aceh, Indonesia, which is currently used as a tourist spot known as the "Floating Ship". This ship has an area of about 1,900 square meters, with a length of 63 meters.

It's not a coincidence, the cataclysm has made the ship an attractive tourist destination that is enlivened by visitors every day.

When we arrived at the place, we were immediately greeted by a well-built man, with very good service. he drove us, even took pictures of us. The man was very friendly and polite. He even took great care of our health, while asking us to keep wearing masks.

The PLTD Apung is now in the middle of a residential area, according to the man, under the ship there are two houses that have been planted because the ship is in that place.

"Don't judge," said the man. Everything is the power of God. We were guided up and down the stairs, and then, I saw some important objects that were inside the ship. And I capture it with the camera.

All around the ship, the waves have worked with such power and ease on the visitors, that it just landed on the houses of the citizens that are now reduced to rubble.

I think, the ship lost control, the anchor was unable to stem all directions of wind and waves. The Floating Ship seemed resigned to the condition where they had to save themselves. I also imagine how the whereabouts of the crew, did they survive that time? Or are they using self-rescue kits?

I think it's not just the ship, it will be the most historic thing to remember. Such as telephones, anchors, engines, and binoculars which are often used by ship crews as a means of long-distance communication with their communications.

That ship, our small size is above this island with an average between the waves, the sea and us. I hope that what I have captured will be an important moment for all of us, that God's power is very broad, besides us, the various factors that caused the Tsunami earthquake that led the PLTD ship to become a silent witness for all of us. Thank you, I hope this post is useful.
