171, Coop Door Done, Wing Packing, Animals, City LOL, Trailer, Weather - Wednesday

Yesterday morning it was quite cold and I was worried about the cabbage plants I have in the garden. When I went out and checked they had some frost damage to the leaves but mid day they had perked back up. I brought the coop door board in the house and worked on it to figure out what was going wrong.

For a short break I stopped at the board and within 5 minutes I was dialed in and I threw my first 171. The darts stacked into the 3x 19 in likely the closest grouping I have gotten. Each dart felt super good as it left my hand and my arm followed through perfectly. I managed a couple more throws with two 3x 19 but couldn't get that third one again. Practice.

So what ended up being the problem... When I was trying the new sensor shield I swapped leads over and when I changed it back I misplaced one so the door wouldn't close, only open. When I got the direction pin put on the ground the door worked like it is supposed to. I was out for closing and it worked exactly right.

My wing was in the fast pack bag and I want it folded so it fits in my harness pack. I flaked it out in the driveway then folded it into the concertina bag.

It folds up nice and small compared and slides into the harness pack perfectly.

The sheep needed to have their waters filled so I added a tub and got them all topped off. I got the chicken water changed as well but they seem to like the rivers on the ground more than the water in the tub.

All day it was cloudy and cool and in the later afternoon we got some bits of precip that fell but never anything substantial.

The boys got the kale and tomatoes cut up then I got the penne cooked then the kale sauteed with garlic. Used up all the kale that I had grown in the greenhouse in the one meal.

Light later now so we are getting sunset when we go out to soak.

Today I will get the boys to and from school, empty the grain, PDC is on mid day, will get the potato garden plastic in line and weighted down better, need to spread marigold seeds everywhere, then will figure out something for dinner tonight.
