Dozens of activists led by "Look Ahead America" leader Matt Braynard gathered Saturday afternoon outside the jail in Washington DC where many January 6 defendants are still being detained to demand their immediate release.
The group sang songs like "God Bless America" as armed correctional officers stood watch. No violence or arrests occurred.
