I have been having an invasion of cockroaches this week. For a moment I thought we were near to have an earthquake because insects living underground can feel movements in the earth. Today I went to the market to buy some insecticides, but they were too expensive, and I got very angry because I knew the cause of the presence of these undesirable insects.
I used to live in a beautiful place, with beautiful houses full of plants and flowers. The owners did care about their houses, but all of a sudden people started to migrate to other countries leaving the houses abandon, or at the care of someone who comes once a month or sometimes more than 2 or 3 months. These people abandon everything, their houses, furniture and some left their cars behind because they wanted a better place to live.
The people who lived in these houses were really irresponsible. They didn't think of their neighbours and the consequences of their acts. They have a foot on Venezuela and the other in Spain, Portugal, Brazil, Colombia, USA etc. Some of those people are having difficult times where they are. The salaries they earn are not sufficient to buy a place like the one they had here. They complain the services of water, electricity, amd gas are too expensive. Some complain they are treated unfairly, and some say that their children are suffering bullying.
The owners of these houses were Doctors, engineers, have small businesses. They had good cars, ate well, and dress good clothes. I know people have the right to do with their lives whatever they want, but you have to think before taking this kind of decisions how your actions affect the sphere where you live. Some of these people have returned feeling sorry because they lost all they had.
I have many friends all over the country suffering the same we are suffering in my town. I don't expect them to come back, and I hope they get what they went to look for abroad, but I hope they do something about with their houses. They can sell their properties and be more responsible. The cockroaches come from these houses because they are never cleaned, they are storing these insects for better times, lol lol.

Esta semana he tenido una invasión de cucarachas. Por un momento pensé que estábamos cerca de tener un terremoto porque los insectos que viven bajo tierra pueden sentir los movimientos de la tierra. Hoy he ido al mercado a comprar algunos insecticidas, pero estaban demasiado costosos, y me enfadé mucho porque sabía la causa de la presencia de estos indeseables insectos.
Antes vivía en un lugar precioso, con hermosas casas llenas de plantas y flores. Los propietarios cuidaban sus casas, pero de repente la gente empezó a emigrar a otros países dejando las casas abandonadas, o al cuidado de alguien que viene una vez al mes o a veces más de 2 o 3 meses. Estas personas abandonaron todo, sus casas, sus muebles y algunos dejaron sus vehículos porque querían un lugar mejor para vivir.
Las personas que vivían en estas casas fueron realmente irresponsables. No pensaron en sus vecinos y en las consecuencias de sus actos. Tienen un pie en Venezuela y el otro en España, Portugal, Brasil, Colombia, Estados Unidos, etc. Algunas de esas personas están pasando por momentos difíciles donde viven. Los sueldos que ganan no son suficientes para comprar un lugar como el que tenían aquí. Se quejan de que los servicios de agua, electricidad y gas son demasiado costosos. Algunos se quejan de que se les trata injustamente, y otros dicen que sus hijos sufren acoso o bulling.
Los propietarios de estas casas eran médicos, ingenieros, tenían pequeños negocios. Tenían buenos coches, comían bien y vestían bien. Sé que la gente tiene derecho a hacer con su vida lo que desea, pero hay que pensar antes de tomar este tipo de decisiones cómo afectan tus acciones al ámbito donde vives. Algunas de estas personas han regresado sintiendo pena porque han perdido todo lo que tenían.
Tengo muchos amigos en todo el país que están sufriendo lo mismo que nosotros en mi ciudad. No espero que vuelvan, y de corazón espero que consigan lo que fueron a buscar al extranjero, pero también espero que hagan algo con sus casas. Pueden vender sus propiedades y ser más responsables. Las cucarachas vienen de estas casas porque nunca se limpian, creo están almacenando estos insectos para tiempos mejores, ja ja ja.
