Did you know that Spaniard Dani Sordo has the nick name 'Mr Reliable'?! Yeah, that is because he almost always finishes the rallies. I don't remeber some bigger errors from his career. Maybe the one was in 2006 when he crashed heavily at WRC Rally Finland, nothing more.
I guess that he showed the rallying world where the MRF Tyres rubber is with their development process. They are improving but still far away from Michelin or Pirelli. These two brands are just far away from the competition.
When watching this onboard rally video, you can see how perfect lines Sordo has. That's why he is rarely off the road.
It seems that Hyundai Motorsport made a big improvement with their Rally2 car because they are not far away from Škoda which is the top brand of the Rally2 class. Maybe they should work more on the reliability because Oliver Solberg had some issues with the car in one of the previous outings.
It could be cool to see Sordo on more ERC outings because he is quick and reliable on any surface and with Portuguese fans he has a special relationship - very warm.
