Neuville leads WRC Cataluny Rally 2021 after two days of competition

Hi, friends!

Hyundai finally found the pace for their i20 WRC rally car because their top dog Thierry Neuville topped the leader board once again after a big battle against Toyota's Elfyn Evans.

This weekend is all about the battle between Elfyn Evans and Seb Ogier because Ogier has a lead of 24 points with two rallies left. Evans must respond in a big way if he wants to stay in a battle for a WRC driver's championship.

But the thing is that he did a bad set-up choice for today"s special stages and lost lots of time agains Neuville.

This is kinda boost for Hyundai's really bad season with so much retirements during the way. It is pretty normal to have a bad season after string of a good seasons but Toyota is their opposition and they are almost always doing well without retirements because of a technical issues

Hyundai's Ott Tanak had to retire completely from the rally after they found that the roll cage of his i20 WRC is damaged. Another Hyu3top dog Dani Sordo is doing well in 4th place and he is very close to Seb Ogier who is in the 3rd podium place.

Toyota "s youngster Kalle Rovanpera is in distant 5th place while only remained top 10 M-Sport Ford driver Gus Greensmith is in 6th place.

Two Hyundai Junior drivers Oliver Solberg and Nil Solans are in 7th and 8th place and without bigger distance from each other.

Tomorrow is final day of WRC Catalunya Rally and I expect another day of thrilling competition.

Let the best win - as always...
