Light Bleed - Lightpainting on Hive

20201128_015844.jpg

Good afternoon Hiveworld and happy weekend to all of you. I hope you are safe and well and this post finds you in good spirits.

Work is still crazy busy at the moment and I have neglected posting here. Sometimes life is just too hectic to fit everything in.

Over the coming weeks it should ease up a little so I should be back here on the regular :)

Happy days.

Light Bleed

This one popped in my head whilst driving round in the van last week. The more I learn the routes, the more I can go into autopilot and daydream about light painting. Suits me just fine.

Below are the ingredients for this shot.

1 x knife clamped in position

1 x Yongnuo 560iv fired through the beauty dish above camera, 1 x Yongnuo 560iv on the floor with a snoot and teal gel.

Lens cap on, swap tripods, F16 set on the Pentacon 50mm and a focus change for the light beaming from the wound.

www.lightpaintingbrushes.com orange filter attachment blasted through a piece of card with a slice in and a chuff of vape.

Single long exposure light art shot in complete darkness with edits in Lightroom to the raw file.

Short and sweet post here and as per usual, if this raises any questions on technique or if you have any ideas along the same lines fire a comment below.

Take care in these crazy times and catch you next time.

Cheers.
