The rate of unemployment in my country is just on the increase and thousands of graduates are produced year in and out. This challenge makes most citizens to source for an alternative way of survival. Presently the rate of Africans migrating to Europe is quite alarming. People tend to migrate or move from one country to another in search for a better life. You can not assess another country without the requirements. Visa processing might be difficult and money needed to prepare it but it's still the best form to track miscreants.

An identity is very important to every individual and even the nation at large. I worked in an organisation for quite numbers of years and every staff had an identity card. The essence of Identity card is to ascertain. An identity gives the bearer full power to act and discharge responsibility as it ought to be. Not long ago in my country, the government introduced the national identity management in order to know the number and details of her citizens. The national identity card contain vital information about an individual and everything is linked with it. This will go a long way to curb the issue of cyber insecurity in the present society. Once the identity number is logged in, it pops up all the information about such an individual. Some people that don't identity card or international passport migrate to other countries illegally through the seas and other means.

Recently students have to get registered before they could sit for the unified tertiary examination. The identity is also linked to banks and other financial institutions. I saw group of women going to buy a sim card and couldn't register because there's no NIM. The identity has become a sort after in the country today. There's nothing you can do or assess without it. Wow identity is very important. There are other countries that don't permit migrants without a pass or identity. Identity management would help to curtail to those who might be involved in other fraudulent activities.

Culture is the total way of life of the people. The belief system, norms and way of life of the people speaks a lot. I would like to share a story how a good friend of mine had a cross cultural marriage. He hails from the north side of the country whereas the wife hails from the east. The marriage was peacefully contracted and today, they are happily married with two powerful children. Despite the difference in their backgrounds, religion etc yet they were able to buried it and pursue purpose. Their long awaited dream has become a reality now as they keep thriving higher towards their vision. Cross cultural marriage is good and boost relationship between the both end. It fosters unity and coexistence amongst the citizenry.

This kind of practice was not possible many years ago but thank God for the harmonious existence that it has brought now. I have a lot of friends today that had this dimension of marriage doing well.

Thanks so much for the privilege to share my perspective on this #aprilinleo prompt for day 24.
