🦉 The willow tit (Poecile montanus)

📚 Poecile poikilis (Greek) an unidentified small bird mentioned in ancient texts
📚 montanus (lat .) : mōns, montis mountain, mountain range, montanus mountain

This funny gray tit lives in any forest, both in conifers and in mixed ones. With the arrival of winter, they can also live in the courtyards of cities, visiting feeders. Once this one flew to me.
Still, most of them can be found in forests. There they, in a large company of other birds (a mixed flock of birds), wander from one forest to another, thereby in search of food.

And in difficult times they eat, of course, plant foods, nuts and seeds. And to be more precise, they mostly search for hiding places made by themselves, or other willow tits, or nuthatches.
