šŸ¦‰ The coal tit or cole tit (Periparus ater)

šŸ“š Peri (Greek) very, hugely;
šŸ“š Parus (lat.) Tit
šŸ“š ater (lat.) black, dark

One of the smallest birds of this family. Her weight is about 8g. Previously,she was called that - the little tit. But even earlier she was called "maskie", for a kind of black mask on the face.
But this sweetheart is found in our city and nearby not very often. The fact is that we have mainly mixed forests, and this tit, in addition to insects, prefers spruce seeds. But most often I meet her in the spring. They appear in the forests and begin the mating season. After, at the end of spring, only a few of them remain. And somewhere in the fall, they can again be found in small flocks.
