In summer it is not so easy to get close to these small waders. In the spring, during the mating season, they actively scream and fly, show themselves. But in the summer they already have babies and are quiet and secretive.
But there are still some small tricks. Those sandpipers that live close to the city rivers, they are used to seeing resting on the shore and fishermen. Therefore, they do not see danger in people, but still they are very careful. This allows you to get closer to them to watch them search for food, which they look for along the banks in the mud and gnawing mud puddles.
