One of the earliest migratory birds. They arrive at the very beginning of spring, when it can even be cold. However, these birds somehow manage to survive at this time, and find food for themselves, namely insects.
The bird has become practically synanthropic, and settles near human dwellings. There is a school in my yard, and next to it is some kind of outbuilding like a warehouse. And under the roof of this warehouse wagtails nest every year, next to the great tit. Every now and then, you can often see these briskly running birds with a swaying tail on the streets.
