How to scare a thief.
Early morning and a beautiful mountain scene, but danger was lurking in the dark.
Harry was up on a street lamp keeping a watch over Sally and the babies and I was on the ground keeping an eye out for cats.
Slowly the light increased and we could see things clearer.
Sally started screaming and yes, there he was! Too dark to identify but the silhoutte looked like a hawk.
Harry took off like a rocket to intercept the hawk.
The hawk saw Harry coming and no bird wants a fight with an angry Egyptian goose.
So yes, wisely the hawk decided to disappear.
Sally and the babies are safe and Harry the hero dad will spend the rest of the day close to them.
The first scare was a stray cat a day ago and now the fight with the hawk this morning and I am sure for the next two weeks there are going to be more attempts by predators to get the babies.
But we make a formidable team Harry and me and even though we realize that there will be losses, we will try our best to keep things together.
Such is life.
And That's All Friends!
