Two Marsh Chickens

Autumn has come. It's already pretty cool at night, although the sun is still shining during the day. These two marsh chickens are apparently going to fly away to warmer places together.
Unfortunately, this year the chicks of the marsh chickens appeared late. But nevertheless, they grew rather quickly.
These two chickens were recently fluffy little chicks. But now they have become adults and swim alone.

The plumage of these marsh chickens is brown. Usually the color of their feathers is black. Perhaps the hens will still change the color of their plumage.
Usually, chickens always return from wintering to the same place. For several years I have observed the appearance of chickens in the spring in the same place.
I can't say for sure whether these were chickens that flew away for the winter and then returned. But the chickens always appeared in the same place.

Hopefully they will come back here next year. In the summer we will see new offspring of chickens and their little chicks.
Of course, it's a pity to part with them. I was so used to seeing them swimming along the river and I managed to photograph them more than once.

But now we will wait for them with the onset of summer. Hope they come back.
