The fieldfare is looking for worms in the grass

In forest glades, you can often find fieldfare thrushes, which are happy to look for worms and insects in the grass.
Here, no one bothers them and they do everything slowly.
Sometimes they find very large worms, even which they cannot eat right away.
You are amazed at their hard work, how they find food for themselves.
If you stand still, then they do not pay attention to you and can come very close. True, the sounds of the camera shutter clicks are very annoying.
You have to take a break after each photo so that they calm down.
Today it is hot and the fieldfare try to keep in the shade. There you can find more different living creatures.
They don't forget about their chicks. One can often see the thrush grabbing a worm flaps its wings and flies to its nest. Hungry chicks are waiting for him there. They open their beaks and demand food.
I really enjoy photographing these hardworking birds that have settled here in our forest.
