Sparrows came to drink water

I walked to the forest along the river. On the outskirts of the city I saw these sparrows near the river. The weather is hot today. The temperature is about 31 degrees. The birds are thirsty. So they decided to fly to the river.
But they did not dare to go down to the water itself. But moisture remained on the concrete steps of the descent to the water. It was probably the ducks who came out of the water in this place and brought them to the steps of the water.
Sparrows don't need much. Their sizes are not large, therefore, much water is not required.
After drinking water, they started looking for food here. People sometimes feed the ducks in this place and the sparrows also get crumbs from the ducks' food.
The sparrows are cool near the water, so they were in no hurry to fly away immediately.
It was interesting to watch them as they drink water, but they vigilantly look around to see the approaching danger in time.
Unfortunately, people on bicycles were passing by and they scared them off.
