Jackdaws

Jackdaws are very interesting birds. They are very pretty in the photographs. You can get close to them, they are not very shy.
Young chicks are especially interesting. They grow quickly, but they are in no hurry to gain life experience. Very often you can see how a young jackdaw, almost as tall as its mother, runs after her with an open beak, demanding food for itself.
Often passing through the city early in the morning, you can see how jackdaws gut the urns, where various packages for food were thrown during the evening. All this is scattered around the bins in disarray, creating additional work for the wipers.
Jackdaws usually settle on the outskirts of cities. It is easier to find food there in the cold winter.
They can often be found in parks and along the banks of rivers, especially those flowing within the city.
They are quite peaceful. They do not like conflicts with other birds.
They are happy to pick up food if someone wants to feed them.
Having picked up their food, they fly away and seek to retire to eat it.
