Jackdaw thought about it

DSC09987-2.jpg

This year jackdaws are not the same as they were last year. Usually jackdaws had plumage, as a rule, black and shiny.
Now the majority of jackdaws began to meet plumage of a dark gray color. Or part of the plumage is black, and part is interspersed with light feathers.
The jackdaws have become smaller in size. There are very few large jackdaws. Jackdaws began to meet with a plumage with a brown tint.

And the jackdaws themselves became much more fearful. Previously, they could be approached at close range. Now, even when the shutter of the camera clicks, they begin to look around fearfully. They prefer to fly off to a safe distance.

Earlier in the morning you could see them sitting on the trash cans and trying to get out everything that lies there. Now this can be seen very rarely.

At one time there were very few of them. Although earlier they gathered in small flocks and walked importantly along the edges of the park. At the same time, you could get close to them. When they ate they were given food, they came up for it almost closely. Now they are afraid to approach and wait for people to retreat to a safe distance.

For some reason, their plumage is not as dense as it was before. Many jackdaws look plucked.

There is enough food for them around. They are not starving. It is simply not clear why such changes in jackdaws are not for the better.
