May the grace and peace of God be poured out on all of you! Today I write these words happy to make my entry to week 75 of the Hive Open Mic, with a very nutritious theme, "La Madurez Digna", proposed by the friend of our @ Familia Linares, Teresa @reinamalinda.
Caballo Viejo is one of the most representative songs of Simón Díaz, and in fact one of the most famous of our Venezuelan folklore in the entire world. Metaphorically it tells us about an old horse that receives a second chance to love and to be reborn all those beautiful feelings and experiences. It also focuses on not letting these gifts of life pass, because when our time in life runs out, there is no more opportunity.
I recorded the video with a Yezz 1 Max Plus and edited it with Windows Movie Maker. I edited the images with Windows Power Point. I hope you liked my version of this exemplary song by Uncle Simón and I also hope to continue participating week after week sharing music through these fun themes chosen by ourselves. Caballo Viejo es una de las canciones más representativas de Simón Díaz, y de hecho una de las más famosas de nuestro folclore venezolano en el mundo entero. Metafóricamente nos narra sobre un caballo viejo que recibe una segunda oportunidad de amar y de renacer todos esos hermosos sentimientos y experiencias. También se enfoca en no dejar pasar estos regalos de la vida, porque al agotarse nuestro tiempo en vida ya no hay más oportunidad.
