Hive Open Mic ( #openmic ) is a global community celebrating live music on Hive. Each week is a new event, encouraging musicians to share songs with an international audience.
This week's Hive Open Mic theme is "Storyteller," chosen by @celticheartbeat. For this occasion, I'm sharing a song with a strong storytelling element. This is a story about a woman who lives passionately in an indigenous way, walking in beauty. It is also a story about a man who lives whole-heartedly, walking in brilliance.
What happens when brilliance meets beauty? Reflection. Connection. Harmony. Unity. Love. Pure love. Naturally, and fatefully, this song brings a woman and a man together.
Over the years, I developed this song as a studio recording and an animated music video, with my band Cosmic Butterflies. Then I created a Brave Spirit children's book. You'll recognize this same imagery as the overlay in my live music performance.
