Mill ruins

Ruins of the mill of the merchant N.L. Malyushkin. Located in the Samara region, the village of Yekaterinovka. It is an architectural monument and is included in the lists of the OKN. It was built in 1896 by the grain merchant Nikolai Lavrentievich Malyushkin. During the years of the Great Patriotic War, the factory of twisted products evacuated from the Belarusian city of Karachaev was located on the squares of the mill. All manufactured products were sent to the front. Until about the 1980s, the mill's workshops produced: ropes, ropes, insulation for wires. Felt boots were also made here. In the 1990s, a bakery was opened at the mill, due to the lack of bread in the village. In the early 2000s, production was closed. The building gradually collapsed. There is nothing left inside that is of any value. Even the wooden floors were taken apart. Only walls were left of the building.
