‘At The Mill’ BluRay | A project I directed

I received this awesome Paradise Lost DigiBook 2 x disc BluRay and CD package. It’s luxury!

Back in November 2020 I directed/shot/produced a live video stream for Paradise Lost - it was a 73 minute multicam live show featuring music from their 30+ year back catalogue, as well as newer songs from their critically acclaimed new album ‘Obsidian’.
It was a fantastic project to take on.

The show called ‘At The Mill’ went out as pay per view to an audience across the globe in November 2020 - right in the middle of lockdown in the UK - and went down a treat.

Soon, the label Nuclear Blast decided to release it on a disc format. They chose BluRay over DVD, and after many months of supplying files, artwork, images and bouncing stuff to the BluRay production guy... we have ourselves a very swanky product!

I do love to be able to hold physical products like this from bands that I love.
And it’s EVEN cooler that it’s a project I directed and produced (in terms of the video side at-least... the audio was skilfully and beautifully handled by another team)

The disc also features two extras as ‘bonus’ video content.

The beautiful booklet inside features a selection of stills from the live performance itself, as well as lyrics from all the songs featured. It also features some behind-the-scenes photos of us working whilst filming the show! Super cool!

It really is a gorgeous, quality set.
I was blown away when I received mine in the post. Absolutely ace.

Of course included in the package is the audio CD too which has gone down really well with fans so far as a live album.
The band did sound sublime on the shoot. The music gave me the chills whilst filming!

Credit to the band, band crew, audio technicians and management for making this all happen.

I look forward to seeing how fans react to this package in the near future! 🤘🏻

If you’re interested in grabbing a copy head over to Nuclear Blast to get one.

Cheers for reading, @ashtv.
