Holaa 💟 qué tal está la gente preciosísima de esta comunidad? Tanto tiempo sin pasar por aquí siento que extrañaba demasiado escribir y hablar sobre maquillaje!! Hoy les traigo una reseña sobre un producto que quería probar desde hace meses, el "Moist Lip Plump". Un labial que promete que tus labios crezcan, tal cual inyección de ácido hialurónico sin procedimientos dolorosos y por supuesto a bajísimo costo. Aquí vamos a ver qué tal nos va, si funciona o no, cuánto dura el efecto y cómo se siente tener en la vida real un filtro de instagram con los labios hinchados hahahaha.
Hello 💟 how are you gorgeous people in this community? Long time no stop by I feel like I missed writing and talking about makeup too much!!! Today I bring you a review about a product I've been wanting to try for months, the Moist Lip Plump. A lipstick that promises to make your lips grow, just like a hyaluronic acid injection without painful procedures and of course at a very low cost. Here we will see how it goes, if it works or not, how long the effect lasts and how it feels in real life to have an instagram filter with swollen lips hahahaha.
El producto que compré fue de la marca Karité y lo conseguí como "Voluminizador de Labios" en la tienda colombiana Trendy Shop. El producto viene en cuatro presentaciones (1. Colágeno, 2. Aloe, 3. Vitamina E y 4. Ácido Hialurónico). Se supone que estos componentes le dan el plus de hidratación a los labios, para que no solo se vean grandes sino también saludables y con brillo. Personalmente escogí el de colágeno pero todos tenían un mismo costo, aproximadamente 2.2$ dólares al realizar el cambio. En la parte de atrás del producto dice que se mezclan ingredientes naturales y avanzados para lograr aumentar el grosor de los labios, que la fórmula no es pegajosa y que el efecto de labios "más llenos y deliciosos" dura por horas. También nos advierte que la fórmula tiene productos que estimulan los labios, así que debemos tener cuidado sobre todo si nuestra piel es delicada o alérgica.

The product I bought was from the brand Karité and I got it as "Lip Volumizer" in the Colombian store Trendy Shop. The product comes in four presentations (1. Collagen, 2. Aloe, 3. Vitamin E and 4. Hyaluronic Acid). These components are supposed to give the extra hydration to the lips, so that they not only look great but also healthy and shiny. I personally chose the collagen one but they all had the same cost, about $2.2 when I made the switch to $. On the back of the product it says that natural and advanced ingredients are blended to achieve increased lip thickness, that the formula is non-sticky and that the "fuller, luscious" lip effect lasts for hours. It also warns us that the formula has products that stimulate the lips, so we should be careful especially if our skin is delicate or allergic.
We'll see how we get on 😜.
Yo empecé así. Con los labios deshidratados y sin vida, resecos por el frío :( Tomé varias fotografías durante todo el proceso y videos en formato GIF para que veamos viendo si hay algún cambio. También decidí aplicarme tres capas de productos, con espacios de 5 minutos aproximadamente.
I started like this. With dehydrated and lifeless lips, dry from the cold :( I took several pictures during the whole process and videos in GIF format so we can see if there is any change. I also decided to apply three layers of products, with spaces of about 5 minutes.
Luego de aplicar la primera capa de producto, a los pocos segundos, se empieza a sentir que los labios pican/arden un poquito. Esta sensación no se va rápidamente, y se siente más si sonríes o mueves los labios. Hasta ahora no es nada insoportable, pero el efecto tampoco es tan notorio, solo se ven más hidratados los labios
After applying the first coat of product, within a few seconds, you start to feel your lips sting a little bit. This sensation does not go away quickly, and is felt more if you smile or move your lips. So far it is not unbearable, but the effect is not that noticeable either, it just makes the lips look more moisturized.
Me apliqué la siguiente capa aunque no me dejaban de picar los labios 😅 estaba un poco apresurada! Aquí sí sentí que mis labios empezaban a crecer y a arder un poquito más. El efecto ahora realmente se siente y se ve
I applied the next coat even though my lips were still itching 😅 I was in a bit of a hurry! Here I did start to feel my lips start to grow and sting a little bit more. The effect is now really felt and seen
Y finalmente me apliqué la tercera y última capa. A este punto me sentí algo masoquista porque estaba haciendo todo el proceso muy rápido y me seguía ardiendo un poquito hahahah. Pero ojo, nada insoportable, también depende mucho de la tolerancia que tengas a estas nuevas sensaciones. Aquí ya mis labios estaban súper hinchados al punto que se sentía raro sonreír, les muestro!
And finally I applied the third and last coat. At this point I felt a bit masochistic because I was doing the whole process very fast and it was still burning a little bit hahahah. But be careful, nothing unbearable, it also depends a lot on the tolerance you have to these new sensations. Here my lips already felt super swollen to the point that it felt weird to smile, here I show you!
Luego de la tercera aplicación los labios se ven más grandes, rojos e hinchados. Pero incluso el borde de los labios también se ve enrojecido y eso no me parece tan bonito! Quizás con dos capas hubiese sido suficiente 🤷♀️. Hice un collage con todas las fotografías para que vean las diferencias de cómo inicié todo el proceso y cómo se veían los labios con la aplicación de cada una de las capas.
After the third application the lips look bigger, redder and swollen. But even the lip border also looks reddened and that doesn't look so pretty to me! Maybe two coats would have been enough 🤷♀️. I made a collage with all the pictures so you can see the differences of how I started the whole process and how the lips looked with the application of each of the layers
Un antes y después! Tenía la sensación de que mis labios estaban eternamente en forma de pico😜 Me parece que este labial a parte de aportar el efecto voluminizador hidrata bastante bien! Por cierto, la palabra efecto voluminizador me parece a un experimento de Doofenshmirtz (Phineas y Ferb😅😅)
A before and after! I felt that my lips were eternally in the shape of a beak😜 It seems to me that this lipstick apart from providing the volumizing effect moisturizes quite well! By the way, the word volumizing effect seems to me like a Doofenshmirtz experiment (Phineas and Ferb😅😅).

Y ahora les dejo fotos mías con mis labios nuevos. ¿Notan alguna diferencia? Me disculpan las caras posando hahaha, se sentía raro todavía y no estaba acostumbrada a estos nuevos labios. La pregunta ahora era la siguiente "¿Cuánto va a durar el efecto?"

A la media hora de haber aplicado las 3 capas de producto tenía que salir, entonces empecé a arreglarme y cuando terminé fui a ver mis labios al espejo y para mi sorpresa: Ya no había efecto voluminizador 😪 Todavía mis labios tenían brillo como un labial cualquiera, pero ya no se veían hinchados, solo hidratados. Retiré la hidratación, apliqué un labial (sin delinear los labios) y así es cómo se veían. Muy parecidos a como se ven en el día a día, es decir, el efecto no me duró más de una hora :(
Half an hour after applying the 3 coats of product I had to go out, so I started primping and when I was done I went to check my lips in the mirror and to my surprise: there was no volumizing effect anymore 😪 Still my lips had shine like any lipstick, but they didn't look puffy anymore, just moisturized. I removed the moisturizer, applied a lipstick (without lip liner) and this is how they looked. Very similar to how they look on a day to day basis, I mean, the effect didn't last more than an hour :(
Conclusiones finales: El labial Sí funciona, el efecto puede verse de forma progresiva de acuerdo a la cantidad de capas que apliques pero lo mejor es empezar con muy poco para ver cómo reacciona nuestra piel al producto. Sí se siente una especie de picor en los labios pero no es tan fuerte la sensación, para mi fue soportable. El efecto casi No dura, por lo que quizás funcione muy bien para una fotografía pero ya sabes que en el camino tus labios irán disminuyendo de tamaño. La próxima vez que pruebe el producto aplicaré un labial de color de inmediato para ver qué tal luce, me imagino que podría hacerlo en un próximo maquillaje :) Y finalmente, me di cuenta que con las 3 capas que usé gasté bastante producto, así que no creo que dure por mucho tiempo y eso también hay que tenerlo en cuenta :)
Final Conclusions: The lipstick does work, the effect can be seen progressively according to the amount of layers you apply but it is best to start with very little to see how our skin reacts to the product. It does feel kind of itchy on the lips but it's not that strong of a sensation, for me it was bearable. The effect does not last almost, so maybe it works great for a photo but you know that along the way your lips will be decreasing in size. Next time I try the product I will apply a colored lipstick right away to see how it looks, I imagine I could do it in an upcoming makeup :). And finally, I realized that with the 3 coats of product I used I used quite a bit of product, so I don't think it will last for long and that's something to keep in mind too :)
