Hola a todos en la comunidad de Makeup Power, nuevamente yo por acá compartiendo mi entrada con un pequeño body art. Coméntame más abajo qué te parece. 😄

Desde hace unas cuantas semanas el servicio eléctrico ha presentado muchísimas fallas en algunas zonas de la ciudad donde vivo –y en el país en general-; hasta entonces yo era de las pocas afortunadas que no tenía grandes problemas con esto, ya que en comparación con varios amigos y conocidos, en mi casa casi no se iba la luz, sin embargo, una tarde empezó a llover muy fuerte en la zona donde vivo e inevitablemente sucedió. Para hacer que el tiempo transcurriese más rápido me puse a pensar en varias maneras de distraerme hasta que el servicio eléctrico se restableciera; no tenía mucha batería en mi teléfono por lo que ponerme a leer alguno de mis PDF’s no era opción, así que pensé en aprovechar las pocas horas de luz natural que quedaban para pintar algo.

Tenía cierto tiempo sin hacer un bodyart, por lo que decidí pintar algo pequeño en mi piel, pero en cuanto vi a mi hermano menor sin hacer nada no dejé pasar la oportunidad de usarlo como conejillo de indias para hacer la pintura en él XD, así que le pedí que se sentara y no se moviera, lo que tenía pensado pintar le iba a gustar mucho.

Escogí un gatito porque él y yo somos amantes de los gatos, además, no suelo pintar muchos animales, lo que resultó ser una razón más para hacer uno.

Proceso:

Primero pinté un cuadro del tamaño de la palma de su mano con color blanco, esto sería la base para empezar a hacer toda la pintura, pues así no tendría que pintar tantas capas de un mismo color sobre la piel.

Como verán, no hice ningún tipo de bocetos sobre el área donde debía pintar. Al ser una pintura tan pequeña no sentí la necesidad de hacer uno, simplemente me fijé de una imagen de referencia de un gato pequeño y regordete para dibujar la forma de su silueta.

Tomé una pintura azul y le añadí un poco de color negro para crear el tono del pelaje del gatito, con un pincel angular tomé un poco de blanco y lo mezclé con unas pocas gotas del tono azul y empecé a pintar algunos matices sobre el pelo de nuestro protagonista, a su vez, escogí un tono coral para pintar el fondo y crear contraste con el otro color presente.

Pinté las dos esferas de los ojos con amarillo mostaza, dibujé la nariz y añadí un poco de sombras por aquí y por allá y en pocos minutos tenía mi gatito listo.

Procuré pintar lo más rápido posible ya que la luz aún no volvía y pronto oscurecería, así que si quería tomar fotos debía aprovechar la luz que llegaba del patio a la sala. En total me tomó unos 45 minutos hacer esta pequeña pintura corporal.

Me pareció muy chistoso como una hora más tarde mi hermano luchaba porque no se cayese la pintura, pero inevitablemente debía hacerlo si quería lavarse las manos para ir a comer.

Hello everyone in the Makeup Power community, here I am again sharing my entry with a little body art. Let me know below what you think. 😄

Since a few weeks ago the electric service has presented many failures in some areas of the city where I live -and in the country in general-; until then I was one of the few lucky ones who did not have big problems with this, since in comparison with several friends and acquaintances, in my house the light almost never went out, however, one afternoon it started to rain very hard in the area where I live and inevitably it happened. To make the time pass faster I started to think of several ways to distract myself until the electricity service was restored; I didn't have much battery in my phone so reading some of my PDF's was not an option, so I thought of taking advantage of the few hours of natural light that remained to paint something.

I had some time without doing a bodyart, so I decided to paint something small on my skin, but as soon as I saw my younger brother doing nothing I didn't miss the opportunity to use him as a guinea pig to do the painting on him XD, so I asked him to sit down and not move, what I had planned to paint he was going to like a lot.

I chose a kitten because he and I are both cat lovers, plus I don't usually paint many animals, which turned out to be one more reason to do one.

Process:

First I painted a square the size of the palm of her hand with white color, this would be the base to start doing all the painting, because then I wouldn't have to paint so many layers of the same color on the skin.

As you will see, I did not make any sketches of the area where I was to paint. Being such a small painting I didn't feel the need to make one, I simply looked at a reference image of a small chubby cat to draw the shape of its silhouette.

I took a blue paint and added some black color to it to create the tone of the kitten's fur, with an angled brush I took some white and mixed it with a few drops of the blue tone and started to paint some shades on the fur of our protagonist, in turn, I chose a coral tone to paint the background and create contrast with the other color present.

I painted the two eye spheres with mustard yellow, drew the nose and added some shadows here and there and in a few minutes I had my kitten ready.

I tried to paint as fast as possible since the light was not back yet and it would be dark soon, so if I wanted to take pictures I had to take advantage of the light coming from the patio into the living room. In total it took me about 45 minutes to do this little body painting.

I found it very funny how an hour later my brother was struggling to keep the paint from falling off, but inevitably he had to do it if he wanted to wash his hands to go to lunch.
