¡Hola mis queridos! Decidí participar en este concurso de MakeUp porque es algo que consciente o inconscientemente ha sido parte de mi vida y también es perfecto para compartir con todos algo sobre mi y lo que me gusta.
Hi my darlings! I decided to enter this MakeUp Contest because it is something that consciously or unconsciously is a part of my life and it is perfect to share the things that I like with everybody.
De pequeña mi madrina me dejaba jugar con sus labiales y me fascinaban los colores, después perdí todo interés en maquillarme y ese mundo por completo. A los 18 cuando, cuando comencé en la universidad y a hacer más presentaciones en vivo, me dió de nuevo la curiosidad de hacer que mi rostro luciera más resplandeciente y sentirme físicamente bonita. En 2016, realicé cursos de automaquillaje con una amiga que lucía siempre increíble y perfecta y fue cuando comencé a darle más importancia y comprar más y más productos de maquillaje.
When I was a child my godmother let me play with her lipsticks and I was in love with the colors, then I lost every interest in makeup and everything about that world. When I was 18, starting university and doing more live concerts, I started to be curious again to make my face look more glowing and feel physically beautiful. In 2016, I took a course of self makeup with a friend that always looks perfect and incredible and it was when I started to give more importance and buy more and more makeup products.
Hoy en día el maquillaje es una afición mía, si lo hago bien o lo hago mal a veces, siempre me divierto un montón experimentando con los colores y las brochas. Lo uso siempre para conciertos, un evento especial y para divertirnos en Halloween. Me encanta también la conexión que tiene con la fotografía, dejar plasmado ese rostro para siempre y crearle un contexto, si existen filtros y eso es solo para resaltar esa belleza no para ocultar algo. Creando elegancia y fantasía en nuestro rostro.
Now makeup is a hobby for me, if I do it right or not sometimes, I always have so much fun experimenting with colors and the brushes. I always wear makeup to concerts, important events and to have fun on Halloween. I also love the connection it has with photography, leaving that face captured forever and creating a context for it, if it has filters is just for highlight that beauty, not to hide something. Creating elegance and fantasy in our face.
Sé que hay muchas técnicas de maquillaje, las observo por mis redes sociales o acá en Hive y siempre sacan mi lado de curiosidad y emoción. Hay veces que quiero intentarlo todo y me vuelvo un ocho, pero gracias a eso sé un poquito de cada técnica aunque nada en concreto. Aún así cuando termino el maquillaje quedo contenta con simplemente haberlo intentado.
I know exist a lot of makeup techniques, I’m always curious and excited when I watch them on my social media or here on Hive. Sometimes I want to try every technique and I get all tangled up, but thanks to that is why I know a little bit of every one , although nothing in particular. Even so when I finished the makeup I’m glad I just tried it.
¿Qué es el maquillaje para mi?/ What does MakeUp mean to me?
El maquillaje no lo veo como una herramienta superficial para esconder las imperfecciones de las mujeres y hacerlas lucir más bellas, más bien lo veo como el arte de resaltar la belleza. Siento que es una expresión artística que puede ser usada para muchos escenarios y temas. Si la música es igual a que te genera sensaciones y emociones por el sentido del oído el maquillaje lo hace por la vista. Si ves una mujer maquillada perfectamente, pero encorvada y que habla en voz baja o no sabe expresarse, te parecerá menos interesante o hermosa que una sin maquillaje que tenga una buena postura y se exprese con confianza, juntando lo que tiene o no tiene una de la otra se crea una obra de arte, y lo cierto es que con o sin maquillaje serás la misma persona.
I don't see makeup as a superficial tool to hide the imperfection in women and make them more beautiful, rather I see it as the art of highlighting beauty. I feel that is an artistic expression that can be used for different scenes and themes. If music is the same as that it generates sensations and emotions through the sense of hearing, makeup does so through sight. If you looked at a perfectly makeup woman but with bad posture, speaks softly or does not know how to express herself, probably she would look to you less interesting or beautiful than some other woman without makeup, self confident and with good posture. But, putting together what one has or does not have of the other it created a piece of art. What it is true is that with or without makeup you would be the same person.
Para mi al usar maquillaje me siento maravillosa y llena de energía, al verme en el espejo o retratada en una foto me siento hermosa, capaz de cualquier cosa y segura de mi misma. No es que no me sienta de esa manera sin maquillaje, pero me gusta esa sensación de confianza y el toque de elegancia que genera. Así mismo, al maquillarme me distraigo y encuentro un poco de paz antes de vivir alguna emoción como un concierto, una sesión de fotos o una grabación.
For me using makeup makes me feel wonderful and full of energy, looking at myself in the mirror or in a photo I feel beautiful, capable of anything and self confident. Is not that I can't feel that way without makeup, but I like the sensation of self confidence and the touch of elegance that generates it. Likewise, by putting on makeup I can distract myself and find a little peace before experiencing an emotion such as a concert, a photo session or a recording.
