Aunque esta fecha coincide con otras festividades alrededor del mundo como el día de la raza y el día de la hispanidad, en Venezuela, todos los 12 de Octubre conmemoramos el Día de la Resistencia Indígena, haciendo referencia al día en que comenzó el más cruel derramamiento de sangre de nuestros pobladores nativos pues fueron víctimas de violencia por parte de los colonizadores españoles. No se reconocían sus derechos ni su diferencia cultural haciendo que abundara la discriminación y el racismo. Por esta razón, me inspiré para hacer este maquillaje que resaltara nuestras raíces indígenas, espero les guste.

Inicié haciendo mis cejas con pomada y sellando con sombra caoba para un mejor acabado y mayor duración. También las corrijo con corrector.

I started by doing my brows with pomade and sealing with mahogany shadow for a better finish and longer duration. I also correct them with concealer.

Coloqué una línea roja en medio de mi frente, para esto usé labial rojo mate. Para los ojos, apliqué sombra roja bien difuminada y posteriormente un delineado gatuno para ampliar mis ojos. En la parte superior de mis cejas dibujé círculos negros en columna.

I put a red line in the middle of my forehead, for this I used matte red lipstick. For the eyes, I applied a well-blended red shadow and then a cat liner to widen my eyes. At the top of my eyebrows I drew black circles in a column.

En la zona de las ojeras también coloqué varios puntos y luego decidí usar el delineador blanco para hacer puntos por todo el tabique de mi nariz. Justo en el medio de cada punto blanco coloque uno negro para que resaltara. Para más detalles hice tres rayas en la sien y una especie de contorno con color rojo, negro y puntos blancos.

In the area of the dark circles I also placed several points and then I decided to use the white eyeliner to make points all over the septum of my nose. Right in the middle of each white dot, place a black dot to make it stand out. For more details I made three stripes on the temple and a kind of outline with red, black and white dots.

Me divertí mucho en el proceso y a mi parecer, quedó bastante bien. El resultado fue bastante parecido a lo que quería hacer y eso me dio gran satisfacción. Espero les haya gustado.
