Greetings to all this community, it is the first time that I participate in the @qurator Monday missions and this time I joined since the topic made me look back and remember my childhood. A childhood full of games in the street, often barefoot and sometimes also painful games with my 5 brothers, cousins and neighbors.

The first game of my childhood that I want to mention is my favorite even as an adult, it is the popular Venezuelan game of "badges", and it is like playing baseball but using a broomstick and soda or beer caps. First we had to pick up all the soda or beer plates that we could in the street and get a broomstick, we had to bite the plates until folding them in half which requires a technique, basically we formed teams of 2-3 players since we did not you need to run or cover the bases, you only need one pitcher and one catcher and the rules are that each hit is a run and each tag caught is an out.

And just like the badges, we had the game of "rubber ball", it was what we played the most in the free hours of class and always on the street. We all had a rubber ball that we bought at any grocery store in town, the idea was to form teams like in baseball and here if we had to run and cover the bases, the only different thing that requires practice is the way of hitting since with one hand You throw the ball into the air and with the other hand you hit you bat, that is, there is no pitcher.

In my childhood we also did something very fun, which was to build ourselves the so-called FLYERS, which is nothing more than a kite that we made with pieces of wood, plastic bags and thread. We put everything together and each person added any details or things they wanted, but the truth was that these were not times of abundance so we could hardly use a bag and that's it. The fun was running and raising these fliers in the sky and spending hours competing with each other and what flier soared higher.
