Hello everyone in the #qurator community, have a nice day. You know, outdoor markets are a feature of Vietnam. Whether you are in a big city or a small town, urban or rural, mountainous or plain, outdoor markets are everywhere in Vietnam. That is our culture. It is almost impossible for us to live without the market. Below are photos of a market in the area where I live. This place used to be a crowded and bustling place.
This is the announcement saying that the market is closed until further notice, and it has been there for a long time.
But sadly, because of the Covid pandemic, this market was closed for a long time. Our government is very strict in the prevention of Covid. Whenever there are new cases in the areas near the market, the market will be closed immediately because the market is always a crowded place in Vietnam.
Every day I pass here, I wonder when the market will reopen to make shopping easier for me and my neighbors as we now have to order through online or go to mini marts and supermarkets in the city. Even so, we remain optimistic and believe in our government and look forward to the day when the Covid pandemic will end and everything will return to normal. Then we can shop in our crowded market again.
