NAPOLI GET A BIG BARGAIN IN SIGNING VICTOR OSHIMEN AS HE NOW STARTED TO SHOW HIS QUALITY

Victor Oshimen is gradually the showing his quality and the reason why Napoli have to break their transfer record when they signed him for the sum €68 to Lille in 2020.

The Nigerian international Victor Osimhen only joined Lille in 2019 summer from Royal Charleroi for just €12m after he had an excellent season in France with 13 league goals and 18 goals in all competition.

He has previously spent two seasons at Bundesliga side VfL Wolfsburg, where he made his debut in 2017, before moving to Belgian club Royal Charleroi.

Oshimen came to limelight in 2015 as he won the Under-17 World Cup and finished the tournament as the top scorer with 10 goals.

Oshimen career at Napoli don't go as plan as soon as moved to Italy. Many people expected him to hit the ground running but when he left Napoli for African cup of Nation qualifiers match for his country he was diagnosed with shoulder injury which kept him for up to two months on the sideline.

Osimhen returned to Napoli was another bad story as he was tested positive of COVID-19 virus upon his return to Naples. His shoulder injury and covid19 positive test, together kept him away from action until his return to the side on 29 January 2021 when Napoli's Coppa Italia win against Spezia.

The striker have started this season brightly and he is showing his glimpse of brilliance most especially from their recently Europa league match with Leicester after he scored a brace to come from behind and cancel out Leicester City two goals out to give his side a point.
