Колібрі на Закарпатті (Hummingbirds in Transcarpathia)

In fact, they are not hummingbirds, but insects, because otherwise I would not have published these images in the group Fascinating Insects 😆. But that's what I thought as a child, when a friend first showed me these ... creatures. Although they fly very similar to a hummingbird, just as quickly waving their wings in the air, which allows them to hang in the air like a helicopter, and drink nectar from fragrant flowers. In fact, they are the Sphingidae family of butterflies. Sphingidae fly the fastest among all butterflies, reaching speeds of 50-60 km/h. (source)	Насправді це ніякі не колібрі, а комаха, бо інакше я б не став публікувати ці зображення у групі Fascinating Insects 😆. Але я так думав у дитинстві, коли друг вперше показав мені цих... істот. Хоча вони літають дуже схоже до колібрі, так само швидко махаючи в повітрі крилами, що дозволяє зависати їм у повітрі, наче гвинтокрил, і пити нектар із запашних квіток. Насправді це бражники (Sphingidae) - родина метеликів. Бражники літають найшвидше серед усіх метеликів, досягаючи швидкості 50-60 км/год. (джерело)

Насправді це ніякі не колібрі, а комаха, бо інакше я б не став публікувати ці зображення у групі Fascinating Insects 😆. Але я так думав у дитинстві, коли друг вперше показав мені цих... істот. Хоча вони літають дуже схоже до колібрі, так само швидко махаючи в повітрі крилами, що дозволяє зависати їм у повітрі, наче гвинтокрил, і пити нектар із запашних квіток. I photographed these insects during a family vacation in Transcarpathia, but, as I mentioned above, I saw these insects as a child, not far from my house, and I live not far from Lviv. I don't know what kind of Sphingidae I was able to photograph, because while these insects are in flight, it is impossible to do. In total, there are more than 20 species of Sphingidae in Ukraine, 7 species of which are listed in the Red Book of Ukraine	Я сфотографував цих комах під час сімейного відпочинку на Закарпатті, проте, як я вже згадував вище, я бачив у дитинстві цих комах, неподалік від мого дому, а я живу неподалік від Львова. Я не знаю, який самий вид бражників мені вдалося сфотографувати, бо поки ці комахи в польоті, це зробити неможливо. Загалом в Україні зустрічається понад 20 видів бражникових, 7 видів з яких занесено до Червоної книги України.

Я сфотографував цих комах під час сімейного відпочинку на Закарпатті, проте, як я вже згадував вище, я бачив у дитинстві цих комах, неподалік від мого дому, а я живу неподалік від Львова. Я не знаю, який самий вид бражників мені вдалося сфотографувати, бо поки ці комахи в польоті, це зробити неможливо. Загалом в Україні зустрічається понад 20 видів бражникових, 7 видів з яких занесено до Червоної книги України.

Most species of Sphingidae are nocturnal and evening creatures, but some of them are diurnal, as are the butterflies in my photos. I took pictures of them shortly after breakfast, around 10 am, while the sun wasn't still too hot.	Більшість видів бражників - це нічні та вечірні істоти, проте серед них трапляються і денні, як і метелики на моїх світлинах. Я сфотографував їх невдовзі після сніданку, близько 10 години ранку, доки сонце ще надто сильно припікало.
