Well I have decided to start this Halloween special that will consist of a series of posts about some phobias with one of the most common phobias in the world, that's right I am talking about hypopotomontsruosquilo- no lie, obviously I will talk about arachnophobia as the title indicates. Without further ado, let's begin.
Bueno he decidido empezar este especial de Halloween que constara sobre una serie de post sobre algunas fobias con una de las fobias más comunes del mundo, así es hablo de la hipopotomontsruosquilo- no mentira, obviamente hablare de la aracnofobia como lo indica el título. Arachnophobia as many should already know is the fear, disgust or repulsion to an extreme degree towards spiders, the word is composed of two words arachnophobia which would be a derivative of the scientific name of spiders (arachnids) and phobia which as I have already mentioned in previous posts means fear.
This fear or repulsion is often due to the appearance of these little animals (which for me are quite interesting) as some spiders can look... quite creepy, although ironically the ugliest spiders are usually the most harmless, but... Does this mean that this phobia is exaggerated?.
La aracnofobia como muchos ya deben saber es el miedo, asco o repulsión en un grado extremo hacia las arañas, la palabra se compone de dos palabras aracno que vendría a ser un derivado del nombre científico de las arañas (arácnidos) y phobia que como ya he comentado en post anteriores significa miedo.
Este miedo o repulsión muchas veces se debe a la apariencia de estos animalitos (Que para mí son bastante interesantes) ya que algunas arañas pueden tener una apariencia… bastante escalofriante, aunque irónicamente las arañas más feas por lo general son las más inofensivas, pero… ¿Quiere decir esto que esta fobia es exagerada?

La verdad es que no tanto. Bueno, si hay personas que lo llevan al extremo pero esto se debe a que su aflicción se complementa con cierto conocimiento sobre estas criaturas (Aunque es erróneo muchas veces, ya que de ser correcto, le temerían a arañas específicas y no a todas)
Las bases psicológicas de esta fobia aún no se han encontrado, más allá de por su apariencia o por lo que las personas creen que pueden hacer no hay un motivo más psicológicamente profundo que explique este temor, aunque se dice que esta fobia se desarrolló como durante la evolución, ya que durante esta etapa era el miedo a criaturas amenazantes lo que nos mantenía vivos.

Araña Violinista: ¿Por qué me imagine una araña tocando el violín? Bueno volviendo al tema esta araña tiene un veneno muy peligroso que puede llegar a ser 15 veces más peligroso que el de una cobra (Ya de por si el de la cobra es peligroso) esta picadura puede llegar a causar necrosis muscular en el área de la mordida y la muerte celular. No debe confundirse con la amigable e inofensiva araña de rincón.

Tarántula tigre de Sri Lanka: Una araña Enorme cuyas patas pueden llegar a abarcar la cara de una persona adulta, la cual es también muy agresiva, rápida y su veneno es letal para los seres humanos, algo para que pienses esta noche cuando vayas a dormir, pero bueno, nada de qué preocuparse a menos de que vivas en Sri Lanka, la India o un país cercano.
