Butterfly pictures from my summer holiday

Back in July and August I had a holiday for 1 week and I visited Mittersill and the Großglockner for a hiking trip together with Stefan. We were lucky to find several nice butterflies during these hiking trips and I took several pictures of them even though they very pretty agile during the day because of the warm weather. I am always very happy when I see a butterfly. They have such a beautiful, easy way to fly (fly as easy as cutting through butter - that's probably because they are called butterfly).

Butterflies are probably my favorite insects because there is such a beautiful variety of different colors and types. But bees and beetles can also be very beautiful and important for the nature and environment. Butterflies are getting more and more difficult to spot and mountain landscapes with flowers is a good spot to find them.
