Hola amigos de @hivefood, espero hayan arrancado la semana con buen pie, que sea de muchas alegrías y comidas ricas. Hoy pasó por aquí a mostrarles unas fotos que me conseguí en mi galería del mes de diciembre, no son las más artísticas, pero sí de un momento foodie, como he visto que le dicen por aquí.
Resulta que andaba con mi hija @orismargc y mi sobrina por el centro de la ciudad y en medio de la calle, donde hay muchas ventas ambulantes de ropas, a los que por aquí se les conoce como (buhoneros) estaban unos jóvenes con la venta de esta fruta tropical.
No es otra que el mango, una fruta deliciosa en todas sus versiones, la venden de una forma muy particular y tiene una gran fanaticada, lo digo porque hay mucha gente a quien esto le gusta, como mis dos acompañantes de aquel día. Orismar al verlos se le iluminaron los ojos y me dice, mami, quiero mango con sal.
El mango lo venden pelado y picado en tiras, lo sazonan con sal, adobo, vinagre, salsa inglesa y otros condimentos, lo echan en una bolsita plástica y así te lo venden, ya listo para disfrutar.
Vas por la calle cómodamente comiendo tu mango, cada una iba con su mango con sal, como le dicen. Me dieron a probar y se me hizo agua la boca, el sabor es fuerte, tipo saldo - picante, medio lo probé y listo, muy salado para mi gusto.
A ellas les encantaron, mi princesa hasta la semilla se disfrutó y mi sobrina la guardo para degustarla en casa con más gusto. ¿Has comprado mango con sal en la calle?, ¿lo has preparado en casa? ¿Te gusta o no?
Mi hija en Colombia no veía mangos, es algo raro lo de estar en otros países y no poder comer las delicias de nuestras raíces. ¿Quién se puede privar de las delicias de un mango?
